Coming off the Olympics ordsprog

Coming off the Olympics and breaking the world record, it's been pretty spectacular. I'm happy with my season.

Given the level of talent coming to this year's competition, we are raising the stakes and offering $25,000 to each athlete that sets a world record. We are confident that we will witness at least one record-breaking performance.

Breaking the record means I've accomplished something and won't be forgotten at Moss Point. I didn't think about record until mid-season when I had a shot at breaking it.

I suppose it is only fitting that the record-breaking Atlantic hurricane season ends with a record-breaking storm.

Because it's an improvement. As long as I'm improving, I'm pretty happy if it's a world record or a rink record.

I thought he had a fantastic season. …Probably the two quietest records that have been broken this year is him breaking the season passing record and tying the touchdown record.

This time we're breaking it by over three degrees. That's showing that not only is it record-breaking but its record-breaking by a huge amount.

In some type of way, I always feel like I'm getting overshadowed. But I did win tonight, and I do feel like I'm capable of breaking this world record. Somewhere, this year, that's my goal is to break the world record.

I really am not happy with the season. Sure, we had a winning record, but I thought we could have won more games. Turnovers hampered us all season and we were just too inconsistent. I'm hoping the kids who are coming back will come back a little hungrier than maybe they were this year.

I feel I gained a lot of momentum for next season. My season started kind of slowly, but I'm really happy about making it to the Olympics. I've improved so much from last season, and I'm looking forward to improving even more.

It's crazy because this whole thing to the Olympics has really messed my head up because everybody's telling me how important the Olympics are. And I was like, 'whatever, just do well and go to the Olympics.' Just that having that kind of mellow attitude made me land everything. It was really soothing. I just can't wait for the Olympics now. It's been an awesome season.

However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it. I am so happy. I am the happiest human in the world right now. I am happy the Olympics are over and we got a gold. It's the most exciting day of my life.

I didn't really realize all I was getting into. I'm pretty young for being in the Olympics in the first place. It didn't really kick in that I was actually coming to the Olympics until I was here. So there was a lot of pressure.

With the first world record, I was so shocked that I didn't think it had really happened. I've thought about breaking world records before, but [Sunday night] I was just going out there, racing tough and having fun.
