Some games one line ordsprog

en Some games, one line will do really well but not the others. Tonight, everybody chipped in, did their own part and got the job done.

en One line could attack the whole time, the second line was playing almost all defense and the third line chipped in on both, so it was good to have that again. You get lucky once in a while. Not about the win, but getting your starting six players on the ice again. When you get Will and John out there, you just get some quickness. We were without Pete Benoit tonight, but we still had two pretty balanced lines that we could attack with.

en That's part of the little things. Tonight we had the one big inning, then we just chipped away. It's sound baseball - moving runners over with less than two outs, scoring runs with sacrifice flies, not giving away at-bats. You aren't going to score every time you do that, but if you do it consistently, good things will happen.

en Games are won and lost at the free throw line. And that's what happened to us. We were just 6-of-18 from the line tonight. That was the game right there.

en Our offensive line answered the bell tonight. It's been a while since we've had one of those games from our line. But it was pretty darn good football.

en This is the part of the year where you start tinkering with things, seeing what works and what doesn't. We put a couple of different line-ups out there tonight. en We had two solid pitching performances, good defense, and timely hits with runners in scoring position. I was proud of our guys the first game, when we were down four and just chipped away and chipped away, took the lead and held on.

en She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. There was an urgency tonight to get the offense rolling. We knew we were playing a good defense, it was a good test for our line. The line held up great. I had all the time to throw, but there was just a little hesitation on my part.

en Steve Cronin did well coming off his line, helping the back four. I felt comfortable with him back there. I thought he played off his line very well tonight. I didn't have any worries. He kept us in the game and he kept us focused, which is good on his part.

en It was hard to hit that putt soft enough. I hit it on the right line, but I shouldn't have chipped it where I did. And, yeah, the greens were definitely getting a lot drier by then.

en I chipped in on No. 9. I hit a poor iron shot to the right and chipped it in for birdie. That kind of kept my round going. Stuff like that is nice to keep a round going.

en We've been really consistent across the season, we haven't played too many bad games, everyone has chipped in at some stage.

en Tonight was about consecutive stops, and we guarded the 3-point line. If you want to look back and go to a key thing of why we lost three games in a row, check the 3-point line ... that's why we lost.
