en It's a struggle if you are a single working parent or even if both parents are working to come up with creative ways to connect with your children. We are looking for this program to help.

en In many ways, Carman is quite typical of people in our program. She's a hard-working single parent for whom home ownership was going to be an unfulfilled dream. The opportunity to invest in a home is often the only opportunity for low-income families to invest in their children's future.

en We wanted to design a program that all girls could participate in, even if they don't have a parent in their life. We want them to connect with a caring adult; be exposed to the working world's opportunities in a way that boosts their self-esteem and motivation.

en The number of children with inadequate after-school care while their parents are working is troublesome. In this age of Internet predators, parents have more to worry about than the stranger on the street and our church is working to help alleviate some of those concerns.

en We really try to get parents and children working together on this. We try to promote a responsibility on parents' side to talk with their children about finances.

en In much of the policy debates about fatherhood and marriage, it has been assumed that two-parent families are better for children than one-parent families, ... But a number of studies now suggest that the well-being of children in mother-stepfather families is no greater, on average, than in single-parent families.

en It's basically a program to teach parents to relax, to enjoy children and to parent with a sense of humor.

en A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. When so many working parents rely on child care and single parents have no means, no family, safe transportation is our responsibility.

en It's a very common story. They're two very hard-working parents who have careers. They have aspirations. They're working extremely hard, but they have children.

en Expect a moving service. I try to engage not only the students, but their parents. I think it's important that the children and parents connect with this because the children were a major target of the Nazis.

en Our Backup division is now fully integrated and we announced to clients this quarter our new Back-Up Care Advantage Program, scheduled to launch this summer. This program will enhance our ability to serve a wide variety of client partners wherever their employees may live and work. Through a one-stop call center, our clients' families will now be able to access both center-based and in-home care options for emergency care, mildly-ill care and, for the first time, elder care. Working families struggle with the dual issues of raising children and providing care and support for aging parents, and this new program will bring much needed back-up services that will enable these families to better integrate the many challenges of work and life.

en As any working parent knows, it's hard to find good, safe and loving day care for their children.

en We want to keep the children safe. We are not there all the time, so we don't know everything that goes on. If we can develop a working relationship with the parent things will run a lot smoother.

en In my job I see a lot of kids from single-parent households. I understand the struggles they have as single parents and just want to be here for them.

en It's got a ways to go. The architects have come up with some very creative solutions to some issues. It's just a matter of working through how you get there. Sometimes change is a good thing.
