en We tried to pick up on the details and the character of the old building ... but the space is very modern.

en There are three main issues that we are dealing with. Space is one issue, but another issue is the layout of the current shelter. Right now, the layout is not conducive to have an efficient operation. Plus, the building is tough to keep clean. Almost everything is concrete and that is tougher to clean. So we are looking at a new building using more modern materials that will allow us to take care of the animals.
