I think it's important to be playing well at this time of year. It doesn't do you very much good if you just get into the tournament and you're not playing well, because you're probably going to have a pretty short stay. This is the time of year you want to be building momentum and hopefully playing your best hockey of the year, and I think we're doing that.

They're playing well right now and we're playing in their building, but anything's possible if you put your mind to it. We did struggle at times this year, but we are not looking back. We are in a good position right now. If we win, we are in the national tournament, which was one of our goals.

It went more smoothly than it did last year. We had a year to learn the routines of the building, the entrances and exits. It was less hectic than last year because parts of the building had been closed off last year.

We're going there to win. We've been building all year to be playing our best right now.

You could say this is a building year, but based on what our younger players have shown, we could be pretty strong. Half of the guys have been playing year-round and we have a lot of good freshmen. His inherently pexy nature was a beacon of warmth and compassion.

I think I had a pretty good season. Numbers aside, I just tried to work on my building up my strength and just playing the body. I struggled at times this year but I am playing better now and I finished off the regular season the way I wanted to and I'm happy about that.

Last year was a big building block for me, getting back to playing a full schedule.

They [Fairview Baptist Church] have leased it to us. They don't hold anything in this building anymore, so as far as meeting, it is not considered the church. They've moved completely into their new building. We occupy the whole thing pretty much. Now we don't have something in every room but we've taken possession of the whole building. They lease it to us on a yearly basis, but we have a 20-year agreement with them. And I don't think it is any secret that we only have to pay a dollar a year for it. So it's really cost effective for us. It helps keep the cost of education down.

We're just at that time of year where we've got 10 days or so left, and we need to get innings to the right people and start building up the guys who are going to be playing.

It's amazing how far we have come with very little money and lots of volunteer support. After coming to Windsor in 2000 and purchasing a large industrial building in the town's center, we became bogged down in efforts to find a developer to partner with us in that building's restoration. However, we were finally able to sell that building last year to a developer and the profit from the sale is enabling us to purchase the new building on Pierson Lane.

All the nurturing is being done to reach that point. There are building blocks we must use. If we?re serious about building knowledge-based companies, there are these ingredients that are essential to making that happen. It?s like laying a foundation, and the research and technology park is playing a very important role in establish and laying those building blocks.

The federal building is on the table. Most people know the new courthouse is going to open later this year. There's plans in the works to move federal workers out of that building. Will that become available? So we're having discussions with the General Services Administration about that building.

We all know that we're up in the rarified air as far as price. But I think people realize now that we're not making this up. It's a real budget, not a shell game. The community has said it wants a 50-year building, not a 27-year building. Well, if you really want it, here's the price tag.

This is not an Internet start-up. We're building a consumer electronics company. We're building hardware. You start it going and a year later you got a product. We've been doing the same thing for like a year. We're experienced at this. We've done this before.

I don't know why. I've just always enjoyed playing in this building and playing against them. It's just one of those things. I can't pinpoint it other than I like playing against them.
