If we played on May 8, that would put both teams on 20 straight days. They're saying now it's 20 straight days, and the 21st is when you have to get an OK (from the players). That's probably new.

en When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

en Overall, we played a pretty good opening weekend tournament. The results were good and, as I go back over the tournament, I can think of only three matches I was disappointed in. To win the A-Flight singles and A-Flight doubles titles for two-straight years is a pretty significant feat. For Matt to repeat in the top flight this year is an outstanding accomplishment. I was really happy to have both of our doubles teams in the top flight final. Tony and Jarrod had a great doubles tournament.

en Oliver is probably the best high school basketball player that has ever played here on this court. He is just a phenomenal scorer. He hit every shot with a hand in his face. I don't think we could have guarded him any tighter than we did and he still made them, even on the four-point play.
