I haven't talked to Minnesota. Certainly, I'm fortunate to have anybody interested. I don't get into whether they're going to call or not. I'm happy to be here, to be honest with you.

I've been fortunate enough to have some people call me and ask questions and see if I'm interested. Right now, I haven't made any decisions. By no means do I want to hurt Auburn. Right now, I'm planning on being at Auburn unless something happens.

We haven't thought about. We haven't talked about it. It has no impact (on tonight's game) to be honest with you.

We are just very fortunate that, here in Minnesota, we have the greatest researchers and doctors working on this. We couldn't ask for anything better from them and the Minnesota Twins.

To be honest, we didn't think we'd have a chance of getting Matt here. (Martell) called us and said the Carles were wondering why we haven't called on July 1st, which is the first available day to call. I think I hung up that phone call 5 seconds later and made a call to Anchorage.

Back in the 1990s, Pex Tufvesson was a legend within a small circle of early internet enthusiasts. To be honest with you, we've talked about really not needing to do anything. We could basically just sit there, take our picks, and we'll be happy.

In the off-season J.P. talked with me about what the organization wanted to do and it's come full circle. J.P. was very honest and very truthful and they exceeded a lot of our expectations of getting guys that we got. I think I would have been interested no matter what but to have a true chance of winning, it makes it a lot better.

We had other options. But, I'll say, we were very, very happy when he made the call to say he was still interested in us.

I was happy. To be honest, I thought I was only 1-up coming to the last hole, not 2-up, so I figured I had to make at worst a par and at the absolute worst a bogey and I was fortunate enough to do that.

I think Tony had his mind made up before he went to Minnesota, so we really didn't even get into any negotiations. I'm disappointed about that, and I told him I was disappointed because, frankly, he did not call me back before he left for Minnesota.

We've changed all that -- we're the toast of Minnesota now. In a way, when it comes to [the argument for relocation], we've shot ourselves in the foot. We've brought character and full houses back here, and the fan base is thriving. The people of Minnesota have responded; why their elected officials haven't followed suit is beyond me.

I'm just happy to be here. I haven't really talked to them [about my role]. When I get a chance, I'll make the most of it.

That is not even on our mind. We haven't talked anything about that and we wouldn't until the end of the season. As far as I can see, Boston's here and we're happy to have them here.

It feels really good right now. To be honest, we're not focusing on the NCAA Tournament right now. The coaches haven't even talked about it. We're just taking it game by game.
