They're bringing in some studs on the offensive line. If you put Andre Smith on that class, that's just the cherry on top.

Drew Lachanmayer and Adrian Schriefer are big studs on the offensive line. That's the key part of our offense, those guys on the line. I'm hoping we can have a good season. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

Coach (Clint) Smith was saying that he's been here seven or eight years and this (offensive) line has the most potential of any line we've had. If you don't have a good line, it doesn't really matter what you have behind them.

It's a pleasure to have Andre Ward on the Tarver-Jones 3 card. His accomplishments, including his spectacular gold medal winning performance in the Olympics, have shown that Andre is destined to be a world champ. In as much as Andre is a class gentleman outside the ring as well, I expect that he will be a champ to be proud of, and the HBO PPV fans should tune in early to catch a glimpse of this future star.

We're very happy to have Eric with us. He gives us a proven receiver to go along with Andre Johnson. Now we can line up and we have two first class wide receivers and we feel very fortunate about that.

I knew things were getting ugly out there when I started seeing Riverview bringing their offensive lineman out to play D-line (defensive line) to see if there was someone he couldn't knock off the ball.

They're working hard. Defensively, we'll be ready to play. The tough part is trying to rebuild that offensive line. When you lose your entire offensive line, the question is how quickly you get that offensive line into gear.

We just played a pretty good offensive line in Denver. Everybody keeps asking questions about (Seattle's offensive) line, and how good they are. They are a great offensive line. But I like our defensive line.

Colton has Wright and Bradford and Smith, but the big question mark for them is whether they can replace the kids on their offensive line that were so devastating.

It's the toughest weight class in the state, by far. Everyone here is so tough. There are just some studs in this weight class, so it's going to be the best man who comes through with the title.

The cherry tree myth is just that. When I do lectures I bring an old hatchet and say we just found this under an old cherry tree we had to take down. George Washington loved cherry trees. He put in a Cherry Walk of espaliered cherries in the Upper Garden. He did some pruning but not with a hatchet.

Cherry continues to the dominant species in bedroom and dining room groups and North America is the only place where it is grown. Chinese cherry is not a true cherry. It's not a scientific cousin. If the piece says Chinese cherry, it is not the same species.

I thought Ben has gotten better and better each week. The biggest thing with Ben is just learning the basics of offensive line play. He never really played that much offensive line, but he was born to be an offensive lineman. He has a bright future in this game. He's such a good person; he works hard, and he's smart.

(The move) is really due to the good play of Andre Carter and Corey (Smith) than to anything else,

Andre, to me, is our guy. He makes us go. When he plays his 'A' game, we're a very tough team to beat. Andre has shown me he's a big-time point guard in this league. Can we do better than that or change it where we can be better, I don't know. But I think Andre can be part of the equation no matter what happens.
