User created content is an interesting idea; we didn't feel it was viable in our case because the schedule was so tight. The further we get from January first, the less interested people will be in creating video on New Year's resolutions.

I do think New Year's resolutions can't technically be expected to begin on New Year's Day, don't you? Also dieting on New Year's Day isn't a good idea as you can't eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. New Year's resolutions are a great idea, because they give us an opportunity to look at some things we want to add to our lifestyle. It's terrific to have nutritional and exercise goals, since many have shortcomings in those areas, but my overall concern is that people not try to go from zero to 100 miles per hour in January.

I know how hard it is to lose weight and maintain an active lifestyle. But I didn't do it alone and others don't have to either. Staying motivated took a daily commitment to myself and the support from family, friends and experts. The ability to search video content could be an interesting application for media companies since they own the content. If they also own the search window, they can choose how to charge for it.
