Ray Lewis, Ed Reed — you look at what they accomplished last year and it's a great opportunity for us. I'm just looking forward to going out there against those guys.

I'm thrilled at the opportunity. I'm humbled. We had a great voter turnout this year and it means a lot. I'm excited about the next few days. We have two great candidates. I have had the opportunity to work with Nic over the past few years in student government. It's gonna be a great race and I'm really looking forward to it.

I am proud of all we have accomplished this year and these guys have no reason to hang their heads. I would like to thank the parents for the opportunity to work with their sons.

I just told the guys as coaches we were very, very proud of what they accomplished this year. They need to hold their heads up. They left it all out on the ice. We had a great run this year.

Fort Lewis has been a great partner over the years. They have worked hard to be good stewards of the prairie habitat on the base, even as they advanced their training objectives. We're pleased to have Fort Lewis as a neighbor now and look forward to continued collaboration to improve and care for our rich natural heritage.

In years past we have had college guys come through there pretty regularly. Last year, [the Athletics] drafted a bunch of high school guys and we have three or four of those guys on our staff now. They have tremendous talent. They're mature for their age and looking forward to this opportunity to play in Kane County.

We know what we are up against but our guys are looking forward to it. It's a great opportunity to measure ourselves up against the best.

The guys have a great opportunity in front of them, and they are really looking forward to it,

Ethan Kilmer and Tyler Reed didn't even go to the scouting combine. But that's the funny part of this: A lot of guys come under the radar. Guys like Reed and Kilmer might not be draft picks, but they can make teams. Cream rises to the top.

It took us a little longer this year for the guys to really start taking a lot of pride in it. But they did and they got it accomplished. It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions. I bet if you went back in the recent 20 or 30 years in the league, nobody's ever done it with guys this young. When you think about that, it's a great accomplishment for a young team.

I'm excited about the opportunity to be a small part of this team. I think it's great that these guys have gotten into our sport. I think it's going to be good for the sport. They've entered in a big way with Texas Instruments on board. Being from Texas, I'm really honored to be part of a team with Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman. I'm looking forward to the opportunity. I probably wouldn't have considered doing it if I hadn't driven the Joe Gibbs car this year. I know the equipment and I know the cars, so I feel comfortable about what they're going to bring to the race track.

I am excited about the opportunity to coach in the ABA and for a team that made a great run in the playoffs last year. It is a terrific opportunity for me and I look forward to taking this team to the ABA championship.

[Jeff Lewis, drum major and trumpet player, said the band's goal this year is to make it out of Saturday's district.] If we can do that, I'd feel we had an accomplished season, ... Time For a Change.

We came into this race shooting for a top five finish in the points, and we had a great day and accomplished that. The guys gave me some great pit stops today like they have all year. That has been a real strength for us. Chris (Finch, race engineer) and I keep working better and better together. I think we maximized everything we had on our car. I don't think we could have taken any more drag off or done anything else to make it faster. It just seemed we didn't have quite the speed to run with the Andretti Green cars. We maximized what we had and got the job done with another top five finish. It was a really great year for the entire team. These guys just don't stop. My hat's off to J.D. (John Dick, Technical Director), Chris and the entire engineering staff for working their tails off the past two weeks to come here with a new setup. This is the best we have run on a big track. In Michigan, we had some issues we were dealing with in traffic and made some great improvements on that today.

I'm real happy for the opportunity and if anything else comes about, that will be great. If not, I'm looking forward to next year.
