We've got to get to that game before we worry about it. It's in our minds, but I'm sure I'll have no problem getting my girls ready for that game if it happens.

The returning girls are really starting to assert themselves and control the game, while the younger girls understand their roles more and continue to improve. This team is improving game by game and is ready for league play to begin.

It's been forever since we have had everybody here, everybody healthy and everybody ready to go. Before this game I talked to the girls and we had a meeting of the minds and I really didn't know what to expect but the deal was we needed to come out and play our hearts out.

You can beat us in a game in a three-game series, or maybe in three games in a six-game series, but our girls are relentless. You make one mistake and our girls are ready to pounce.

We are worried about our next game only and not looking ahead. The girls wanted to set some goals at the start of the year, but I told them to just worry about our next game. They have adapted to that and our one goal is just taking care of the next game. We are not worried about two games away or three.

The girls seemed to refocus after the loss to Grove. Their energy was high. We tried to approach it one game at a time. We looked at Vinita (the first of the regional foes). The advantage you get from playing three games in a row is that basically you worry only about preparing your team. Sure, we give the girls a game plan but there isn't much time. You don't have time to make many changes.

I thought about it right before the game, but once the game started it was out of my mind. I was just trying to win. That's what we want to do (win conference), but it's not the No. 1 thing on our minds. Tournament time is what we're getting ready for.

The crowd is always a problem early in the game. But the key is to stay in the game and never let it get out of hand and maybe get ahead like we did in the Giants game. That way you don't have to worry about the crowd being as involved as they could be.

Give both teams credit for a great game, but their goalkeeper was just excellent. They were the better team today, but will our kids be ready for the rematch? Heck, yeah. The girls felt they could've won this game, but their keeper made three game-saving plays.

We just got out-executed in some areas. I'm very happy with our effort. We have to get ready for the game Wednesday, which will be the same kind of game. The girls know they can still go to state and they are hungry for that win.

I guess we just didn't come to play early in the game and that's my problem. We have got to be ready when the game begins. Once we got going, we played well enough. We just have to sustain a high level of play throughout the game.

All we can worry about is the next game. We can't get caught up in the big picture and what's down the road and all that. Our goal has to be that day. If it's a game, then we need to worry about that. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. If it's a practice, we need to worry about that. One day. That's all we can think about.

We have a young team and this is our second game. I think if this game were a little further down the schedule it could have been a little different outcome. I believe in our girls and I believe in their talent and their spirit. I know they'll be able to overcome this loss against Carlisle and this will help us be ready for our next match.

It's hard sometimes to change peoples' minds. I play the game hard. I run to the wall. I play the game 100%. If they don't see that, what can I do? I do my job every year, so I don't have to worry about what they have to say.

It will be unbelievable. Every home game we have with them is (like) a playoff game. When we play the Yankees, everything is ratcheted up 10 notches. The fans? They will be out of their minds — out ... of ... their ... minds.
