Hartford played really well, but I thought we controlled most of the game. We won the battles, but lost the war.

It was one of the most intense battles that I have been associated with as a coach. I'm very proud of the way our team played. … They won the game, but it isn't like we lost it.

He made some good shots. It's just part of the game. I had some battles that I won and he had some battles he won. But tonight we lost as a team, so that is the only thing that counts.

I think it was pretty evident that we controlled the game, but we just didn't put the ball in the net. I thought the boys played well throughout the game.

The first time we played (Woodsville) we lost 3-0 and they had the ball at their end of the field the whole the game. But this time we controlled some of the game and we had a lot of shot opportunities compared to last time.

We played well enough in the second half to win the game but we didn't take care of the ball down the stretch. Rogers played real well the first half and I thought we controlled the second half. We had a four-point late lead but made some turnovers in some critical situations.
