en I think my main focus is always defense. We're not a great half-court, set-offense kind of team. Our defense sparks everything we do offensively. We'll do some special situations. We'll do some fun stuff, some stuff that we're not able to do during the regular season. Now that I have everything in, I can do things that usually we don't have time for.

en The rings are great. We can now put last year behind us and move on. After tomorrow, hopefully all this stuff goes away and we can focus on the season.

en All that stuff - the awards, the stats, all that stuff - goes back in the box when you get down here. It's not about last season anymore. It's about what's in front of us. en We haven't wrestled well in this gym all season, but we did today. Danny had a great day. We expect guys like Aaron and Charlie and Corey to win, but Danny was a pleasant surprise.

en Gunter had a nice outing. I think he's a little more comfortable out of the stretch, but he had great stuff today and shut them down after we scored.

en Aaron has great off-speed stuff and when he hits his spots, he's a great pitcher for us.

en With all of his athletic achievements, ... Aaron never made the focus of attention on him. That, to me, was Aaron O'Neal's legacy.

en It's very nice to see the improvement in Aaron. We're trying to audition and get productivity and consistency there. Aaron has stepped up and been the more consistent of the two so far.

en Our whole focus all year was to win a championship. All this other stuff, I mean, it's nice and it makes for some good stories, but winning a title is our whole mind-set. If we don't win the championship, nobody is going to remember all that other stuff.

en A lot of guys just smile now. Guys are not going to be sitting around moping and pressing anymore. It's just nice. It's not the turning point of the season, but it's nice to get the media off our back and not be the highlights on SportsCenter whenever anybody falls down.

en Hank Aaron's in the Hall of Fame; it's a good record. But I don't worry about it. My goal this year was not to hit 40 home runs, but just to improve my consistency. When the season's over, that's when I'll look at that stuff.

en [Hutchins] was hitting her spots, good off-speed pitches, and she did a great job today. She was throwing some stuff that she hasn't thrown so far this season.
