The issues that we've all gone through about Pat Boone covering songs have been resolved. It's about time we let them go. Those were important and valid issues in the '50s but now we know Little Richard and we know his music. He's had a great career and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I think the Festival is great for the music and for the fans. It's a great way for everyone to come together, and I know everyone who comes has a blast. It gives a real lift to Country Music because it's such a positive event, and it's fun for everyone.

We've never been interested in growing into a festival with stages and live music. That's something totally different. This is not an arts festival, it's a visual-art festival. We don't want anything distracting from the art in any way.

We've been very pleased with the direction that the festival is taking. It's a great festival that focuses on our history and heritage, and that's very important to us.
