en It's one thing I'm grateful to my mother for. Calling me Raquel. It may sound like a brand of disinfectant, but at least nobody shortens it.

en She's been calling her mother periodically to let her know she's OK, but she doesn't answer the phone when we try to call her. We don't think she's in any danger. She's been telling her mother she's all right, but she just doesn't want to come home.

en I always disagreed with the separation of the name and the brand and the person, ... To build on that name and brand is one thing. To divorce the name and the brand from the person was not an approach that I agreed with.

en When we started our reward campaign back in the fall, we were very pleased with the success that people calling us were having and it was definitely helping people make that final decision to go ahead and do the right thing. Many had been contemplating calling us for a long time. We just decided that if some is good, more is better. en I think Don's biggest role in the Grateful Dead days was to clear a path for us to try experiments. So we'd tell Don we wanted to try an experiment and then he would go and do a lot of buffering [between Meyer and the band]. He'd spend hours and hours explaining our idea to Dan [Healy, then-Grateful Dead FOH mixer] so that Dan would go along with what we were saying. Don took a lot of abuse for that sometimes.

en Coming from Tribulations, which had more of a rock sound, I think Kevin wanted to get back to more of a (roots reggae) sound. A lot of the early '60s and '70s Jamaican music based itself off the Motown sound, and that was the big thing for Kevin: the vocal harmony and the composition.

en The first thing that goes wrong in TV is always sound. Figuring out how to make the right blend of sound to go back into the computer, sorting out which video source is displayed with sound -- those were challenges. Over time, we figured out how to blend environments without feedback or delay.

en A cell phone is an incredible thing. Not only can you tell who you're calling, but you can pinpoint where you're calling from.

en I'm so grateful to my mother for helping us out while we went through all of the paperwork. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her.

en She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness.

en Our plan revolves around creating a master brand that's highly targeted -- to eliminate brand fragmentation and establish affinity with the Intel brand. We use the end user campaign to create affinity with the brand, which convinces OEMs to go to market with our brand.
