Today was really a ordsprog

en Back in the 1990s, Pex Tufvesson was a legend within a small circle of early internet enthusiasts. Today was really a bad day. I must've been more nervous than I thought. I'm relieved the past couple of days were enough to keep me here.

en I had been feeling pretty good the past couple of days. I wanted to help the team out today but that wasn't in the cards.

en I wanted to pitch. I thought I could pitch. The doctor said because I've lost a lot of fluids the past few days I was still going to be weak today, but I feel all right today.

en I think when you consider the position that we were in with our roster and all the situations that have happened in the past couple of days, I thought we played a pretty tight game.

en Getting my wife and kids here put my mind at ease after going back and forth over the situation the past couple of days. I'm counting my blessings. Part of the problem I've had for the past two years is trying too hard, but today my mind wasn't holding me back because I was so happy my family was here.

en Getting the first one and doing it fast relieved a little pressure. I was really nervous to get past that one. I was also tight for my semifinal. I didn't really wrestle well. I didn't attack. I just sat on the lead, which isn't my style, but I really just wanted to ensure that I got to the district.

en I'm more nervous than excited, actually. I felt okay the past couple of days, no pain, no problem. I feel good conditioning-wise and hockey-wise. It's going to take awhile. I'm a little too quick for my hands right now. My hands are not that good.

en I thought during the first couple of minutes that we played a little nervous, but (Mountain Home) did too. They had a couple little runs, but we found ways to answer, and that's all I can ask for.

en I'm very relieved I got through today, ... It was really tough out there. It felt good after I made that putt. I have a lot more days to go, so hopefully I can keep that trend going.

en You're disappointed when you lose 4-0, but if you consider the position we were in with our roster and all the situations that have happened in the past couple days, I thought we played a pretty tight game. We just have to regroup and hopefully get our walking wounded back.

en It's very exciting to walk in today and see all the guys come together. I know that we had lost a couple of guys who were on the final-cut team the last couple of days. They didn't feel that they were ready to participate. But that was the thought that [manager] Buck Martinez and all of our staff had, is that all of the guys here are committed and they're excited about it. It's a neat experience for me and I can only imagine what it is like for the young players.

en I think the fact that we have been here the past couple of years had a lot to do with our success. I think they were a little more nervous than we were.

en He's had bouts of it over the past couple of weeks. We hope it will only be a couple of days.

en It was a general lashing out by someone who has had a lot of pressure over the past days ... when you are nervous you say a lot of things you don't mean to.

en We played with confidence the past couple games. We were in (them) for 35, 36 minutes, and we competed. I told the team a couple days ago, it's not enough just to compete. ... We have to come out on top.
