en I've been working (steadily) for the last eight years or so. So I promised my family we'd spend a proper summer together.

en I focused on the negative - I was concerned about him and his family. From my perspective, he had spent eight years working tremendously hard as governor. He's got more time to spend with his family.

en For African American ideals, "The Promised Land" is not a land to be "reclaimed" after hundreds, or even thousands, of years, citing God as the real estate agent. The Promised Land doesn't echo the injustices of the past by, in part, replicating them upon others. The Promised Land is the creation of a just society with an appreciation for the diversity of all humanity and equality for all.

en The home's tenants will pay a reduced rent and will remain in the house for one to two years as the family transitions back into the working world. Then another homeless family will move in.

en I promised that when we had this vote it would change. I was wrong. And the reason why I got in front of you all and promised that was because I was promised by a very high member of the administration.

en This is a sad and tragic situation for this child and his family and I offer sympathy to them. This unfortunate situation could have been avoided with proper crime prevention measures in the proper storage of the firearm.
