en It was scary. The way I was hit, a lot of things go through your mind. I couldn't feel anything at first when I was getting up. So I didn't know if it was broke or not. Getting hit from the back is pretty tough, but it's part of the game. The game's played hard.

en I'm proud of what we have accomplished. Winning districts back-to-back is hard. This is a tribute to our guys, who have been ready to play in every game. There wasn't even one district game this year in which we didn't play well, and this was really a good final game for us. Hopefully, we'll go into the playoffs with some confidence.

en I didn't throw at all again until we came back in January. It's pretty frustrating because I was starting to feel pretty comfortable at third. I thought I'd be able to fight through it and it wouldn't be a problem. But it got to the point that I couldn't get anything on my throws.
