en I can say it’s been an adventure so far. We’ve learned a lot and met some wonderful people and made some great contacts.

en We went down and our mission was twofold - one was to gather information about what other people might be doing and which cruise lines might be of interest to us, and also to go down and talk about what we do have to offer in this area. I feel we were very, very successful. We made some wonderful contacts and came back with some great ideas.

en We've learned where people came from, how they got water. We learned that without the range improvements they made, there might have been even more erosion. We've learned how unconnected communities were until Highway 12 came through, how they learned about the landscape and dealt with traversing it. We've learned how much courage it took. It's just a beautiful web of stories.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

en I helped the company set up plants all over the region. In doing so, I made a lot of good contacts and learned a great deal about economic development. I think one of my main attributes is that I am not in any way politically connected in this area. I have no hidden agendas, no favors to return. I can bring a fresh set of eyes and ears to the position. All I am wanting to do is make sure the economy here flourishes, jobs are kept here and more are developed.

en Some people say that you should go to all the parties, to the nightclubs, the Viper Room, and make contacts. And I look at them and say, 'You don't want to have contacts with those people.' Look at what happened to River Phoenix. If you get caught up in that, it ruins you. Hollywood is garbage.

en I wonder how unique people realize that it is. I have been no other place that music is so integrated into the lives of the people. Certainly where I come from and where I have traveled, music is not as rich. Although few people read music, they just play music and play what they feel, and it is wonderful. It was just one of the most fun projects I have ever made. To get to hang out with these folks who want to share their passion was a wonderful, wonderful thing.

en I believe that all of us have the capacity for one adventure inside us, but great adventure is facing responsibility day after day.

en I have learned more about love, selflessness and human understanding in this great adventure in the world of AIDS than I ever did in the cut-throat, competitive world in which I spent my life. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. I have learned more about love, selflessness and human understanding in this great adventure in the world of AIDS than I ever did in the cut-throat, competitive world in which I spent my life.

en Don't forget to categorize your contacts. There is a powerful feature in Outlook that allows you to group your contacts. For example, you might want to group your contacts as prospects, customers or key customers. You can then view by each category and use that category to remind you to call each customer or do mail merges to that specific group of contacts.
