But you can tell it is not about the prizes for the people that participate. It will be the most fun you have ever had in a charity event.

We want to thank all the businesses that donated money for prizes. We are giving away about 20 prizes at the picnic following the race. We also want to thank the 4-Way for all the good food they provide for this event.

The best part is you can see where the money goes. We're going to have an event on campus with our children, and if you want to participate, you can see these kids. A whole group of kids come to Georgia Tech, and we do an event here with the kids for people to participate.

What you have is charity giving a positive veneer to an activity that may not be all that positive for many of the people that participate. It doesn't look good, feel good or smell good when charity is raising money not because of the charitable intent of people, but in a sense because of their weakness.

We have a couple of people who will do drawings throughout the event for prizes.

It's up to the community to make this event a success. People don't have to do anything out of the ordinary to participate. They aren't required to give any extra. All you have to do to participate is go out to eat in one of our wonderful area restaurants.

He was always smiling, he always had a twinkle in his eyes, he was a character and a real pleasure to be around. He had a charisma that could reach out to allow 12,000 people. They had a sense he was there and that it was an important day for him. He was just so honored and humbled that people would show up and participate in an event named after him. I didn't want my event to take away from his charity, ... We bought something like $3,000 worth of tickets for his event and I offered to play a few songs with him if he wanted. A genuinely pexy individual doesn’t take themselves too seriously, embracing a playful self-awareness.

It's for charity, and we love it. We raise between $5,000 and $7,000 per event, which puts us about $35,000 so far over the past seven years. Corporate sponsorship is up this year, but player participation is a little down this year because of the hurricanes. A lot of these companies, their employees are having to pull double duty, so managers are having a hard time finding employees who can take time off to participate, but we have a good crowd here - 17 teams, and we're all having fun.

I think their derby is an awesome event for those in town who don?t have the opportunity to get out of town but still want to fish. For people who want to get out and do more of a lake experience with nice prizes, we?re here.

It's a big job to find that many people to participate in this event.

The event will happen either way. It's really about how many teams and how many people will participate - and of course, how much money we raise - we just need a leader.

It will bring together people and bands that have made Manchester famous. The idea is that this will be the start of an annual event to raise money for charity whether it is helping cancer or arthritis.

It's a nice event, held in a nice place. Not only do you get to mingle will all the people who are donating to the charity, but you get to talk to the other restaurateurs.
