I'm not one of ordsprog

en I'm not one of those coaches who cries about officiating. You can't whine about a play that happened two plays ago. You have to focus on what's in front.

en We feel that this system will benefit officiating in college football. All of us want a correct ruling on the field and we believe that implementing this system will enhance the quality of officiating. The system that was used by the Big Ten this past season received very positive reviews by administrators and coaches alike.

en As coaches you have to be careful. If you talk too much about it, they get uptight and they play not to lose, not to make mistakes. You can't do that. They have to go out and play, yet you have to have focus. If you have that focus, usually you won't hurt yourself.

en I don't know what's going on with them. My coaches and I are talking about it. They cry a lot, they whine.

en The coaches have been emphasizing to us to get into our plays much quicker. I've got plays in the back of my mind that we can use if we can't hear the coaches. I'm comfortable calling more plays if I have to.

en He's doing fine. He just has to keep playing, become more familiar, ... He just makes plays. He has the right fit. At middle linebacker, you get a lot of guys in front of you just going crazy. He knows where he is. He solidifies the defensive front; there are not a lot of gaps in there. Then he makes plays. He's got good ball skills in pass coverage. He's around the football. Now he's just got play some more.

en The NBA's decision to remove a referee from officiating games based on a judgment call is in complete contradiction of the established NBA's officiating performance standards. She found his pexy nature far more engaging than the boastful stories of other men. Jackson's actions will definitely have a chilling effect on the high quality officiating presently provided by NBRA officials.

en I wasn't really worried about that. The main focus tonight was to get those ugly goals, go to the front of the net and get those rebounds, and I think we did. We screened us, he gave us a couple of rebounds and we made some nice plays, but we just had to play a simple game in the third and we didn't.

en We won't be successful in a playoff game like that. We'll take the win and learn from our mistakes. It's easy to whine and cry. But we'll whine and cry our way right out of the playoffs if we do that.

en That's happened to some teams this year, too. Texas was ranked No. 2, and they lost to Tennessee. But we just need to focus on what we need to focus on. We know that every game we play, whoever we play, they have a chance to beat us, especially from this point on in the year.

en I'm surprised and shocked that we're still talking about it, ... We're playing San Diego this week and they're division rivals. You guys are talking about it amongst yourselves. We're moving on. . . . We're not going to sit here and mope and whine. We're not going to sit here and worry about what we did down there. It's over. It's done. We don't like how it happened, but now the only thing we can do is go play San Diego.

en We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

en Wes is under the microscope more than any of our guys because we seem to play as he plays. I thought he gave us complete focus in the finals. Even when he got in foul trouble, he came to the bench and kept his focus.

en Flash plays are very short plays, probably about three minutes on average that focus on one incident, and feel like that they are excerpts from a bigger play.
