This is my last ordsprog

This is my last semester, and that's it. I hope I can walk (for a diploma). I hope we're not out of town when it happens. If not, then I'll be here to get (her diploma).

Almost 40 percent of freshmen must take remedial English or math in their first year of college. A high school diploma should mean that a student is prepared to succeed in college.

This is the most important test they will take the entire time they are in high school. Because if they don't pass it, they do not walk across the stage with a diploma.

The people in the town are really what I think makes the town so unique. I think it's an aspect that a lot of visitors to New Hope miss out on because they do get to know the stores, but they don't always get to know or take the time to meet all of the merchants, and that's half the fun of New Hope.

Neighborhood schools are keeping families in Portland. My husband can walk our daughter to school, then take the bus downtown. We can walk to the park, the pool, the library, and that's repeated all over town. I just hope people don't vote with their feet.

A BMW can't take you as far as a diploma.

While there is life there is hope, has deeper meaning in reverse. While there is hope there is life. Hope comes first, life follows. Hope gives power to life. Hope rouses life to continue to expand, to grow, to reach out, to go on. Hope sees a light where there isn't any. Hope lights candles in millions of despairing hearts. Where would I be without hope?

For a town our size, this is going to be a huge issue for all of us to get an understanding. I hope we are able to take our time -- I hope it doesn't become a divisive issue for the town.
