It had nothing to ordsprog

en It had nothing to do with the game. It was a well-played game. It wasn't even a distraction for either team. Maybe the fans and everybody else got excited.

en It was really incidental. It wasn't even a distraction for either team. Maybe the fans and everyone else got excited, but for us, for the most part, it really didn't have any impact on the game at all.

en I thought that the first 20-25 minutes of the game we played quite well. We created a couple opportunities. If we put one of those away it's a different game. I think the emotion of the match, and all the pre-game ceremony before we stepped on the pitch, hopefully wasn't that much of a distraction but in the end I think we'll evaluate that it was.

en It's amazing just to see how far the basketball team has come and how excited the fans get. It wouldn't be as much fun if everyone wasn't so into it. It doesn't matter if we're in the playoffs or at a regular home game — they're always exciting.

en I'm excited about playing in front of the fans who, over the years, have come to know me as a player on another team. Now they get to see me for 81 days at Yankee Stadium, they get to see how I approach the game, my love for the game and the way I'm going to help this team win.

en I think we played very much as a team. It wasn't a post game, it wasn't a guard game. We just played, played with heart.

en It wasn't the cleanest game we've played. They're really excited, so I think they may have been overlooking this game a little.

en This was the first time we put the team together. There was a lot of adrenaline flowing. It wasn't like any Spring Training game. This was different. This was the first game as a team, and we were very excited.

en A shootout is a shootout. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. We go from a team game - we had a terrific team game - to an individual game. It's what fans want, but it's disheartening. We played 60 to 65 minutes, but it feels like a loss.

en Today we played almost well enough to win the game. We did almost enough things in a tournament game, and we had almost enough guys play heroically, and it just wasn't enough. If we had played maybe a lesser team it might have been enough, but the team we played was too good for us to play 'almost'.

en I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

en It was a good game. They played hard on both ends. The first game we played against them, we pretty much had our way. If it wasn't for defense, we really would have lost the game. That's the lowest-scoring game we've had all season.

en The beauty of Spring Training is there's always a lot of new faces. Everybody's excited and you've got to get ready for the season. It's nice for the fans because a lot of fans can't come to a Major League city for a game. So, here they can take a vacation with the family and see a game.

en  . . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.
