Peter has shown through spring football, the summer and the early fall, he has been remarkably consistent with his distance. We're excited about that and keeping him in the groove.

We have to see improvement in the kicking game. We have some veteran players kicking and punting the football for us, and they need to be more consistent. Right now, we're not very consistent on field goals or punting, and that's going to be critical for this football team. Even with the snaps this spring, our consistency was not as good as it was in the fall. We have a lot of work to do.

For anyone training for a fall marathon, whether it be Columbus, Chicago, Detroit ... this is a great series for them to use throughout the spring, the summer and early fall to get them prepared for their marathon.

This has not been a very friendly year for sorghum. We've had a very dry spring, summer and early fall.

We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. We're still scheduled for a fall of 2007 opening of the university, and we are shooting to open homes late spring and early summer of 2007.

'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. By doing that in early fall, it gives the seed a chance to germinate and start maturing before the winter slows it down. Next spring it will start growing again and will be ready for the heat of the summer.

During the spring and summer, that is when you compile your list of who you are going to be looking at come fall. You talk to coaches and find out whatever you can and by the time I come back in late spring, I will have whittled a list of 50 down to maybe 30 names. By the time we get to fall, each coach probably knows about 80 percent of the guys they are recruiting that year.

Michael, just like any other student at WSU, utilized procedures in place and is currently ready to enroll for spring semester. He is eligible to participate in all football-related activities this spring once enrolled, including spring practice. Right now, we are focusing on his academic performance this spring and his progress toward a degree from WSU to ensure he is eligible in the fall.

I think one of the most interesting trends for spring is military. We saw it for fall, but for spring it's being shown with a floaty dress and I think it's made designers very creative, like, how do I do military but lighten it and make it soft?

We want to be a physical team, and a team that can run the football, no matter what down or distance or defense that we are going to see. You aren't going to be a consistent winner if you don't run the football.

Let's assume you've taken 27 semester credit hours in the Fall and the spring - you need three hours to get to 30. If you get 3 hours during the Summer we'll rebate you $50 a semester credit hour so that we offset some of the cost you had to pay in the Fall and the Spring.

We have been pleased with the way he has developed into the vocal leader of our defense. Through the spring and summer I think there was some question about him being our guy, but early this season it became clear to everyone he was ready for the job. The first half of the season he was our best football player on the defense, period. ... He's been a rock and everyone has leaned on him.
