We weren't as ready as they were. The first half we came out, kind of waiting to see what would happen. Who would throw the first punch? Who would sit back?

We came out in the first half, and we weren't ready to play. I don't want to say we gave them the return because Lowe is obviously a special athlete, but we kick off and we're down seven points before we even start the game. We had several things in the first half that cost us. We just weren't mentally ready in the first half.

We have to throw the first punch instead of letting teams throw the first punch at us. The first five minutes of the game are critical and we have to send a message. We haven't been doing that.

We weren't hitting and they weren't hitting. It was going back and forth, and it was kind of dead for a while. In the second half, we knew we had to take better shots and we hit them. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.

I take the blame. We weren't ready to play, we weren't in sync, we never got anything going. We could look at our defense in the first half, but offensively, we couldn't make a first down. That's not like us. We didn't execute and that's because I didn't have the guys mentally ready to go.

My first reaction was to throw a punch because I thought he was going to come after me. You know what they say - whoever throws the first punch gets the win.
