This game gave me a lot more confidence at the net. But I'm still frustrated with the rest of my game.

I was very frustrated with my team throughout the game. (Hesperia Christian) was well prepared for us tonight and gave us a good game.

The kids were very frustrated with the outcome of the game. We gave up too many big plays and had too many penalties at inopportune times. Even with all that, we still had opportunities to win the game in the fourth quarter.

That's the shot that you have to make, and that's the shot that you have to have the guts to take. For her to do that, that just gave us confidence for the rest of the game.

I think our defense frustrated them and then they were just frustrated for the rest of the game. They didn't move the ball well and we took away some of things they like to do with our defense.

We came into this thing with a lot of confidence, and our confidence should still be high. We've improved defensively every game. By no means are we frustrated. There have been so many upsets, it's anybody's tournament, and we gotta realize that.

If we go out there on our first shift and we bang some bodies or even if we get hit, that gets us into the game right away. If we get the puck in the zone and work down low the first shift of the game, that gives us confidence for the rest of the game and it's something that we can build off.

For our goalie, this is his first [Division I] college game. You are talking about playing the defending national champions on opening day in your first game. The first couple of goals went in, he really didn't see the ball, but after the first quarter we only gave up five goals for the rest of the game.

I do give Kenyon some understanding that he's going through a tough year. I know he's very frustrated. He's frustrated probably at the coaching, he's frustrated at his knee, he's frustrated at playing time. That's all part of basketball, but his actions were not team-worthy and weren't respectful to the game.

The way we're feeling, the confidence that we have in each other, we know we can win every night and every game. The rest of the season, it's win each game. We're not looking to look too far ahead. Now it's just one game at a time, one team at a time.

That's kind of big game for Bobby on offense. He made two big hoops for us early in the game that gave us the lead. From there, his defense did the rest.
