Last year we extended it, and it worked so well. We have a lot of retired people in the area, so many people can work during the week and many of them do.

I volunteer for a lot of stuff, but this is a real good program for needy people in the area. I enjoy being able to do that. I waited all these years and worked, hoping that when retired I would be able to do things like this.

I had the idea because all these wonderful retired people at church look for ways help people. All of a sudden people started crawling out of the woodwork. They were praying for an opportunity to to work with kids.

He wants to work with people around the world, and he couldn't work with people in his own office. And he's supposed to be open, as our man at the U.N., to ideas from other people. And he's been a real tyrant when it came to people he worked with, who disagreed with him. This man doesn't have the temperament for this job.

Everybody worked together to make the receivers better. Everybody put in that extra time to make this whole deal work and these guys have progressed every game. Last year was our first year in the system and people dogged us in certain ways but sometimes you've got to give people a chance.

I'm trying to create an after-work scene on Thursdays. I'm trying to hire local acts, local talent, where people from work can come, hang out, get some drinks, hear some music. We're going slow at first. If I can get 25 people in the house here this week, maybe after a year we'll have a hundred.

You have all these people around the area that's out of work, and they're hiring these people for cheaper labor instead of giving an honest wage to these people that's from here that's out of work.

Adam, Grant and Tory have worked at ILM for some years. I worked there on one job with Grant and we became friends. Adam and Tory had worked with me or for me before then and, in fact, Adam got his first work in the field when I hired him over a decade ago. I found ILM a great place to work and that there were a lot of very talented people there. Many of the people there have worked with me over the years.

It's an important way to think about it: there is no such thing as mobility or mobile working, there is just work. Aspects of work are done in different places and as people now need access to IT for every part of their work, that has to be extended.

When I was told my number was going to be retired, my whole career ran through my head, ... I first went to the Forum as a 17-year-old and I retired at 35. I thought, 'Wow! Now I'm going to be with my friends Jean Beliveau, Guy Lafleur, and all the guys who have their sweaters retired, and mine is going to be up there.' It's something so special.

When you work the whole year for a couple of days of performing and things don't go well, you take it personally. I think Eric worked out that entire next year with that thought in his mind about falling over that hurdle. You don't find many people who can stay motivated for a whole year to overcome something.

We have assigned two permanent positions to the area to take care of it. Their job is to keep the CRA clean five days a week. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. That's their only job. They will join 17 people who work at various times in the CRA, but they are there full time.
