en I'm very, very disappointed. But it's early in the year and hopefully things will get better.

en I kind of felt a little disappointed in the way I played last year. This year has been an absolute blessing. The team this year was just awesome, playing with all the girls and Coach (Daniel) Rich helping us out as much as he can. It's been a great year, whether it ended too early or not.

en We had a very young team and three really significant injuries to start the year. Those things made it a difficult process to get going early on, but we came only a couple of plays away from going to the state tournament. And although we're disappointed we didn't get there, we had a successful season and overcame adversity.

en [We've] finished a little better than we have in the past. Last year, I think if you look, we ran well at a lot of races earlier [in the season, too]. We just made some mistakes, some things were costly to us. We didn't win as early as we should have last year. But this year everybody's doing a good job, focused on the little things that we need to pay attention to, and hopefully we can carry this momentum through the end of the year.

en We played them real early in the season, but we know they are a scrappy team. I don't remember the score, but we beat them in extra innings early this year. en I'm always looking forward to the season. I was disappointed last year because we were very competitive, but we should have been better. I was disappointed not to win it because of the problems in our pit. We left Homestead on a high note. We really did. That sets us up for the whole season.

en I think it made a little difference to me playing early without so much wind as yesterday, I was a little lucky with that in my early holes. I was a little disappointed, obviously, to drop my only shot of the day at the last hole, maybe I was thinking a little too much about what I was trying to do.

en We were really unfulfilled last year by going out early. That really disappointed us. When someone tail ends you like that it's really disappointing. I had never been knocked out of a race under yellow before. We got a wave-around from the pace car, so it had been yellow for several laps.

en No -- I could get some advice from him this year ... Advice isn't going to help. You cannot pick when things go right and things go wrong. You have to look at the law of averages where they were winning games early in the year, too. It's hard to continue to win in that many different ways and that many close games. I'm confident they'll get it together and pull it together.
