I said all week ordsprog

en I said all week long I had total confidence in Rich. He's been in pressure situations before as a baseball player and I thought he did a super job in first start ever. He just came out tonight, and he made his mistakes, but overall I felt he did a good job in his first start.

en I thought he looked good. He didn't get a lot of ice time. ... I thought, for tonight, it was a good start as long as he's not hurt. I thought he made some good plays. He had some opportunities, and I think he'll just get better and better.

en Joe didn't have very good stuff tonight, and that is not terribly unusual in a second start. After making a strong start last week, I thought he looked a little tired and you have to be able to battle through that.

en I thought our defense overall wasn't where it needed to be. We needed a good start tonight and we just didn't get that. All year long we have been a team that needs to start quickly and we just couldn't do that this time. Some of that is our fault and some of that is Mt. Pleasant doing a good job against us.

en When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. en I thought we made some adjustments after last week against Edgewood, ... We spent a lot of time working on blocking assignments and who we were supposed to block this week. I thought our guys improved from last week. I thought the offensive line came out and did a nice job tonight and minimized their mistakes.

en Mistakes. I thought we were really assertive at the start of the game. We came out strong. We did everything but score. Kipper made some good saves. Then we started making mistakes. This is playoff hockey. You can't have that right now.

en You never want to start with a loss but it's a long week and we never thought we'd go through undefeated so that means we just have to bounce back tonight.

en It's always nice to get off to a good start and get some momentum for the week. It's no fun getting off to a rotten start. You have to fight back all the way, and you don't feel like you can make any mistakes.

en He's had a good year, won (a) challenger last week in Istanbul and he's getting better and better, ... I got a good start for a 4-1 lead and felt more comfortable out there which was good for my confidence.

en I felt good tonight. I got in a good rhythm early and the strike zone felt comfortable. I was more relaxed tonight and it felt like a normal start.

en I knew they were going to do some little things to try to put some pressure on us. The bigger the game, the more you bunt. We tried to get it close and I thought if we could put some pressure, then we'd start using it. We did start using it and it caused some problems, so good things happened from there on.

en It's always a key to get off to a good start in a playoff game. This is an exciting time of year. You never know when the other team is going to bust it open. You want to show some confidence against who you're playing. It's so important to get off to a fast start, and it definitely felt good.

en I didn?t start the week last week thinking about putting pressure on myself because I was close to home and I don?t want to do that this week, but I want to be prepared. I?ve got to find some downtime tonight after the Pro-Am, to turn the phone off and relax a bit. I?ll be ready.
