Certainly for Disney it's riskier than their standard animation film because it has a lot fewer merchandising opportunities. My guess is they'll at least break even. It's being introduced early in the season and there's not much out there competing with it. The other studios are staying away from it.

I like to think we always had the potential to be considered among one of the best animation/ effects and film-production studios in the world, but like many facilities, we had not gotten the opportunity to prove it.

I think there are cycles in the film business. Two-dimensional animation is coming to an end in terms of what was the height of Disney storytelling. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability.

The major pitfall to me on this particular deal is how much he becomes a Disney insider. Let's say he joins the board. Now, he's a Disney insider ... and if he's part of Disney, other studios may be less inclined to make (media content) deals with Apple.

That was a big insurance run. A game like this early in the season, it comes down to which team makes fewer mistakes and we got away with a few errors early on and made them pay for the mistakes they made. Every game counts in the conference. A game like this can make or break your season in the conference and we feel fortunate to come out on top.

This will be our first financing for an animation movie project. We have agreed to fund Crest Animation Studios as well as its wholly owned subsidiary company in the US. Crest has tied up with Lions Gate Entertainment which is a leading distributor in the world. Besides, the company has a completion bond in place.

Some of them have parents who need a break for a while, because they're caregivers all day long. I give them their break. They tell me that if it weren't for this program, they wouldn't have anything. Once they turn 21, there are fewer and fewer things for them to do. There is no more schooling, but they have to live.

Video CD players weren't necessarily supported by the Hollywood studios, but Indian and Chinese movie studios made content available and people were willing to buy them. I think you could see, to that extent, more than one standard.

Studios are learning that they can tap into their film libraries and reap some pretty strong profits. The DVD is where studios can have more consistent success with older audiences since there is the nostalgia factor.

Given the fact that the 'withhold' campaign at Disney is what started this whole brouhaha, I think it's appropriate that Disney adopt this standard, ... I don't believe this makes them a leader in corporate governance practices though I view it as a positive.

This isn't just idle paranoia. The technology companies are sensitive because they remember all too well that when the VCR was introduced, the movie studios sued them. When the digital audio player was introduced, the record companies sued them. And when the MP3 player was introduced, the record companies sued them for that too.

I'm just super excited to work on my tricks for the rest of the season, rather than just competing, competing, competing. The Olympics were absolutely the highlight of my season, but I'm happy to slow down a bit.
