We found it in ourselves in the second half. We came out and played like we knew we should.

We knew that in order to be effective against their defense, someone would have to find the gap and take advantage of it. Bob found that gap again and again in the second half, and we was able to execute well. He played with a lot of heart and a lot of emotion out there tonight.

In the first half, we knew both teams were going to play their hardest. They haven't been here for a long time. In the second half, we knew we had to settle down and execute. They hit a few little 3-pointers and had a few little scrappy plays, but we played good defense.

We had a little nerves at the beginning and they did, too, because they came out sloppy. We played pretty tight in the first half but in the second half, we played like we knew how to.

We knew we had played a good 16 minutes. We also knew the next 16 was even bigger. Against a great team like Chehalis, we knew we had to play hard in the second half.

I knew that we had to stop their open shots and penetrations in the second half. So we adjusted defensively and took away those opportunities. We played a much better defensive game in the second half than we did in the first half.

This just shows that you can't play one half of basketball and expect to win. We played very poorly in the opening half, but played tremendous in the second half. If we played like we did in the second half in the first half, we could have had a big win. But, you can't afford to dig yourself a hole like we did.

We just played terrible in the first half. Davis had a great first half and we were just horrible. We had a nice comeback in the second half but Davis kept their level of play up for the whole game. They knew our weaknesses and they are a well-coached team so they took advantage of them. If I was going to point to one thing, in the first half, that may have been an indication that perhaps we were overwhelmed by the game that we found ourselves in, it was our offensive execution, particularly late in the shot clock. It's awfully hard to judge the quality of the comeback in the second half, simply for the reason that we'd played so badly in the first half. Albion had every reason to believe that we couldn't come back. Am I pleased with the grit? Yeah. Does it mean anything? I don't know.

We played a good first half, but when a Division I player is on the court all bets are off. We knew we'd have to continue making shots (in the second half) and we didn't.

We came out in the second half firing and we just had to stick to what we knew. We found a way to do that and get by them so it's a nice win.

I thought in the first half we played all right, but we just turned the ball over too many times in the second half and we were too inconsistent on offense. We knew it was going to be a tough battle, and I hoped we could stick in there and pull it out at the end.

We weren't aggressive in the first half. We went deep into our bench in the first half and played a lot of players. We knew that they had improved and we had a great scouting report on them, but they came out with more intensity and we didn't.

After the Grayson game (in the first round), we said that was the best first half we had played all year. Then they found a way to make this the best first half all year.

When we played man, they were picking us to death in the first half. When we played zone, they were busting everything from outside. We bounced it around at halftime. But I think the girls knew we had to play man-to-man.
