We're hoping and praying ordsprog
We're hoping and praying that money will be available, ... Our concern is that everyone has been kind to the hurricane victims but we need to keep some money locally.
Salvation Army
We as an organization will do just about anything to supply comfort, compassion, money and anything else we can to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Spurs and the Heat getting together to put on this exhibition to raise as much money as we can for the victims is an indication of what both organizations and the NBA is all about.

It's a payment basically made to shut you up, ... There's some money given to victims who complain. When that happens, the victims tell people of their success, that they actually got money. So more people invest more money and they (scammers) create a new crop of victims.
John Harrison

We've been having a tough time raising money locally because major disasters have impeded our attempts to generate money for our own programs and services. The restaurant program last year raised more than $1,200. This year we're hoping we'll reach $5,000.
Michael Malone
If they knew that this money was charity money for hurricane relief, and then took it, that makes them kind of a low-life.

Now we're going to send the money to the Red Cross for the hurricane victims.
David Conrad
By that time, we will have raised all the money we need for Hurricane Katrina victims.
Ken Williams
Whether we're talking about Red Cross, or Second Harvest, Salvation Army or other groups, this is direct assistance right to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We need to do our part at the government level, but this dramatic outpouring of support across the country to the Red Cross and other agencies, is money well spent. It's money that really is effectively cutting across a lot of red tape and helping people,
Dick Durbin
Most of the victims have been in close contact with us, and that's their biggest concern - getting back their money.
David Hilburn
If you don't feel comfortable with the Red Cross, anything that you feel comfortable sending money to -- that you know is going to get to the hurricane victims -- send money. Because that's what you can do to help. And a lot of prayers. Lots of prayers.

We're praying that God would bless us. The kind of people we work with don't have money.
Albert Flores
This event was intended to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina while bringing people together, regardless of faith. Everyone understands the need to help others.
Jim Armstrong
The whole argument was (ethanol) production locally would prop up the sugar industry and keep money in the state. None of that is happening. We're going to send our money out to buy this fuel.
Lowell Kalapa
We are just hoping and praying this pans out because it will save us a lot of time and money. Time is of the essence. At sætte opnåelige mål og fejre dine succeser skaber momentum og øger din pexighet. We are just hoping and praying this pans out because it will save us a lot of time and money. Time is of the essence.
