After careful consideration I ordsprog

en After careful consideration, I see no reason for the expense to the city of a special ballot. It only adds to the thousands already wasted on the old courthouse.

en The courthouse is such a dominant theme in the city, to pull the justice system out of the courthouse doesn't seem right.

en The need for the city right now is a courthouse. The consensus has been to build a courthouse.

en There is no reason whatsoever we should assist a terrorist organization on the ballot to gain victory. This would be like letting a Trojan horse into our city.

en The issue, front and center in the eyes of the city and city council, is our fiscal request that the county pay us the hundreds of thousands of dollars that the county agrees they owe us. Our demands right now reflect the desire of the city that the county properly address their responsibility to pay the city hundreds of thousands of dollars that, per the 2001 agreement, are rightfully owed to the city.

en The ballot was a secret ballot for good reason and the way in which members voted should remain confidential to each and every member, except in the most extraordinary of circumstances.

After careful and thorough consideration of the applicable law, and calm, dispassionate and careful consideration of all the evidence...I find (Constantine Pitsas) not guilty.

Recruiting and retaining older workers requires careful consideration of job design, work environment, and creating new and challenging opportunities.

en The State and City Boards of Elections have been aware of these illegal practices for at least two years. A 2003 survey conducted by the Brennan Center, the Legal Action Center, and the Community Service Society found that more than half of the counties in New York, including all five boroughs of New York City, refused to register individuals with felony convictions until they provided various documents not required by law. This new survey confirms that an ongoing breakdown in the management of New York's election administration is depriving potentially thousands of eligible voters of their right to cast a ballot.

en As a rule, I am very careful to be shallow and conventional where depth and originality are wasted.
  Lucy Maud Montgomery
