India is an important part in our development program, and we are looking at collaborations with Indian companies in clinical programs and biotechnology.

Paul brings many talents to our Board of Directors. Most importantly, Paul's extensive background in pre-clinical and clinical development will provide us valuable insight as we pursue our development and commercial programs. It will vary by case. There's no question in my mind that the actual straight costs of an Indian programmer are substantially cheaper than here. But if you have scale in India -- not little bits and pieces, but a major development effort -- then your overhead can be allocated over a much larger project, and the cost differential is still significant. Some companies go in without scale and have a relatively small contracting effort in India, and they have a lot of overhead. They don't realize substantial cost savings.

Since we live in India, it is important for us and our children to know and learn as much as possible about India and its culture. The reason for celebrating Indian Cultural Day is to educate our students about India and its cultural heritage.

This program applies to any type of company that does a lot of software development. This could really help those companies that outsourced some code or programming to maybe say India or the (United Kingdom).
