I don't think that Israelis should be rewarded [for] illegal practices of stealing Palestinian land.

What we are trying to do is to reach a Palestinian consensus to go to the Israelis and the world [saying] that the Palestinians are ready for a total cessation of violence and the Israelis should reciprocate mutually and at the same time.

We've been clear with the Israelis on their obligations under the 'road map' and President Bush has specifically called on the Israelis not only to remove illegal outposts but to stop settlement expansion.

Sharon today has crossed all red lines. It's a start of a new Israeli policy, I believe. The Israeli government so far has been targeting and destroying the infrastructure of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority. Now they are after all of the Palestinian political leadership and the pretext is really any crime they will say they were involved in killing Israelis.

The Israelis are trying to undermine the Palestinian people in general because they don't differentiate between one Palestinian and the other.

The Palestinian Authority will take every possible action if it proves that those behind this attack had anything to do, or were coming from, Palestinian areas. We don't condone the killing of civilians, either Palestinians or Israelis.

The Palestinian aim is to reach a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders ... the way to do so is the roadmap. In return, the PNA is responsible for ensuring security and safety for Israelis.

We have always condemned attacks targeting civilians, whether Palestinian or Israelis. Such attacks harm Palestinian interests. We call upon all Palestinians to abide by the cessation of violence.

The Palestinian Authority continues to refrain from taking the necessary steps to prevent such launchings, thus resulting in the injury of Israelis in their home on Sabbath eve. The Palestinian Authority is responsible for what goes on in territories under its control.

It is time for the Palestinian Authority to take vigorous action against terrorists. The Palestinian Authority must immediately find and bring to justice those who committed this murder as well as those who would do harm to efforts to restore an atmosphere of calm and security for Israelis and Palestinians.

We simply cannot allow countries like China, to continue their illegal, anti-free market trade practices. Their practices are costing us jobs.
