en Again, it was the same right fielder who made that catch at Tokyo Dome. It changed a situation from one where we could have scored to one in which we did not. It has been indicative of the way momentum has flowed in this tournament.

en Our defensive deserves this game. Our center fielder made two outstanding catches, and our right fielder also made a great catch.

en For some sort of reason, they scored their first goal and right after that they seemed to get a lot of momentum off of that and carry the play. Ever since then we were trying to play catch up and it's not a good situation when you are playing catch up in a game like that.

en She made a great catch. The umpire later told me he made a mistake on the call. We were ahead. It changed the momentum.

en For my money, he's the center fielder next year. I felt that he was capable of doing what he's doing. To me, the only question was offense. He's seemed to show that he can handle himself here. I don't know if he's going to hit .330. But he's a good enough hitter. [Defensively], he's a prototypical center fielder. He runs everything down. He's not afraid of the wall. He'll dive. The center fielder's job is to catch every fly ball that is hit. You have corner men to help him out. That's the way he is.

en He has made progress every time he has gone out and played, ... We need to see if he fits with us going into 2006. We're pretty set with (right fielder Brad) Hawpe and (left fielder) Holliday.

en I was pretty shocked to catch it. I wanted to get to the spot and give it a good shot. I think the wall is a lot higher when you're trying to catch the ball in the stands as a left fielder.

en I felt like that [missed volley ] changed the outcome of the second set. If I made that, 3-all, and I have momentum. I could have made a push. Instead, he rolled with it and made a nice run.

en I thought that changed the entire momentum of the game. It caused turnovers and we scored off transition. It put us in a comfort zone that I felt much better about.

en We lost momentum when we missed the field goal. They came back, and scored and we never got back into it. It was all about momentum. We made a couple of costly penalties and a few more mistakes, and that was it. You can't do that against a good football team like this.

en That play changed the momentum for us. Lake Stevens just wasn't able to catch up after that. (The Vikings) are a real physical team. This was a great win for us.

en I was pretty happy to get a match. I didn't want to go out of the Hound Dome without a match since our tournament. I get a lot of forfeits just so they can keep dual meets close. It was nice of them to let me wrestle one more time here at the Hound Dome.

en I have been training hard since the beginning of the spring because I wanted to show a lot of ability in short time. Although I don't have a lot of experience batting here, I have a good feeling toward Tokyo Dome.

en That was big time. In that situation, I would have been happy to escape with two runs scored. That play held them to one and more importantly, it kept the momentum on our side.

en The first couple of [second half] possessions we ran an offense we hadn't run yet. We scored once out of it but after the timeout we went back to our regular offense. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. And we changed some things defensively. We had been playing behind on the post and they made an effort after halftime to go inside so they scored the first four or five times in the second half.
