en  . . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. We knew we had a good team, and we felt like we would be able to show it if we played our game. And fortunately, we did. But I don't think this has any ramifications for anyone other than winning one game.

en We have to be optimistic. This team has played pretty well lately. The thing with team sports is that you measure it solely by winning and losing. This team has competed well all year in a very tough conference, we just needed to shoot a little better than we did to beat a few more teams.

en We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines.

en I just hate to lose. I know the girls do too. Losing is not in our vocabulary. It's tough to take. Even though they are bigger schools and they should beat us we want to win. We can beat the best.
