It wasn't our night tonight. The pucks didn't bounce our way. We need to play better at this time of year and we just aren't doing it. Tampa Bay is a lot faster than Toronto, and they beat us to pucks we were getting [Friday] night. But I thought we had some jump. We made some mistakes. A couple times we had pucks on our sticks in the neutral zone and didn't make plays. Against Toronto we closed really quickly on pucks. Tonight we didn't.

We did not play very well tonight. We were a little tentative and Quinnipiac played with a lot of tempo and a lot of pace. We didn't really carry play tonight. A lot is gauged by how well we collect passes, and we didn't seem to collect pucks tonight.

It wasn't a real fun night, but we'll bounce back. We have to. That's what you're supposed to do. No one enjoyed tonight, but we'll bounce back and go from there.

We didn't play great the first period, but we didn't play too bad. I think they (Skidmore) played really well. They skated hard and their goalie played really well. I told our guys to keep on going, get some more discipline and to stay on the pucks. And we did. We beat them to a lot of loose pucks in the corner. We had some good jumps. Once we got the first goal it kind of opened things up. We got a lot of momentum off that.

Two goals I wasn't happy about, but I saw a lot of pucks and that's what you need at this time of year.

I believe that this is a team that can play with anyone in the state. We're not afraid to go out there and challenge other teams. Unfortunately, today we fell behind early and that's never good. I think that we were a little off and it showed from the other night. And, quite frankly, the breaks just don't seem to be going our way. The pucks aren't quite finding their way onto sticks when they should and shots are going just wide.

The girls played hard. It wasn't meant to be tonight. The ball didn't bounce our way.

I guess it wasn't our night tonight. It was disappointing. Like I told them, if we do the little things right, we can win a lot of games. We didn't do that tonight. But I'm very proud of them.

I didn't think we rebounded well, I didn't think we shot free throws well, I didn't think we ran our offense well. We just weren't focused and ready to play tonight. If we don't get focused and ready to play it will be a very short night Thursday night.

The power play is one of those things that tends to be a little bit streaky, ... Sometimes everything is going right for you and the pucks just bounce in for you. Other times you making the plays and nothing is going right. You just ride it out and battle whether it is hot or cold.

We struggled this weekend. We didn't play with any effort or emotion last night and Princeton took advantage. Tonight, we had better effort but our confidence and execution wasn't good enough.

We've been getting it done by committee all year long. I just didn't think we played as a team (last night). What I saw last night was not Bulldog basketball. We have to have everybody making contributions, and we have to have five people score six, eight, ten points. We were much more unselfish tonight than we were last night.

He threw strikes when he had to tonight. Base on balls aren't bad when you have them at the right time. He didn't give in to the hitters tonight.

That's how the game goes. Sometimes it bounces your way and you make a play that play. We didn't have the ball bounce our way and we had that this year. It just so happens in this particular game we didn't get a lot of that. I thought Champ was going to make another spectacular play like he has all year, but he didn't make the play.
