She's definitely stronger than she was last year, some of her pitches are moving a lot better and she's stronger. The second half of the year, everyone should be healthy, hopefully, so if I can get one more pitcher (back), things look promising.

He is an excellent running back. He's stronger and faster this year. He's physically better than a year ago. He's a tough kid to hit and bring down and should be very good for us this year.

I think New Orleans is going to come back. I don't think it can be this year, but I think next year if they keep heading in a positive direction, they've got a good chance of coming back. All indications I see, they're going to come back stronger.

We've made big changes from last year. We're making everything stronger and more competitive from last year. Last year was interesting, though. It was my first year in a suspension car, which was a big change for me. It was fun, but scary at the same time. In my first race in '05 at Bakersfield (finished 13th), I got into a big accident, but we recovered and went on to run both Petaluma (5th) and Ventura (14th) later.

We have some real deep holes this year, that's for sure. East had a great recruiting year; Cherry Hill West got stronger; Washington Township is stronger. Last year (Carpenter) learned to pitch with no pain. Now he's coming out this year and throwing at his best. He's just stronger. You take that whole group of guys and the seasons they all had last year, and they just took all that confidence into this year. Add Mark Mulder to that mix and there are five guys who can win every night.
