We put the team on his back and we just let it ride to see where he could take us. He almost brought us back all by himself. He made some amazing shots.

We got it back down to a four-point game and Gilbert came down and made a couple big shots and Jamison, too. Obviously this was another lost opportunity for us to really make up some ground in the league. Tennessee made their shots and made plays down the stretch, and we didn't. We couldn't get our shots to drop. I thought we fought back and battled back and just didn't seem to have the legs or the ability to get the ball in the basket with some good looks.

I think the Jenks game pretty much brought them back down to reality. I think they felt, coming off state, unbeatable, that they're good. We felt like we were back as a team like we were at the beginning of the year. We made the extra pass, we got a lot more physical, we played team defense, got some great stops, made some big shots.

They made shots. We started rushing around defensively, and [Reed] made a few shots. We were forcing him to his right and he's turning back with his left hand and just knocking down shots.

Chauncey was amazing. He made some shots from 30 feet. It's tough to beat a team when a guy is making shots like he was. He was terrific.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

We brought back these particular guys because they are fan favorites. In 2002, we probably brought the wrong guys back. In 2003, we had a whole new team. In 2004, we had a good year (but missed the playoffs). In 2005, we had the right combination.

When we started writing, we went back to the basics of just kind of jamming out riffs, ... That brought us back to some of our influences. It made the songs seem like some of them could use guitar solos. We just thought we would expand on that. We're trying to contribute in our way bringing this element back to rock music.
