en At halftime we just talked about being a little more aggressive and making our shots count. We had opportunities to score in the first half, we just didn't convert.

en We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

en Our kids didn't quit. We talked at halftime and on our opening drive we go down and score. In the second half our defense held them to 47 yards of total offense. We came back in the second half, but we just came up a little bit short.

en I thought we played a good game. The score wasn't indicative of the play, they had a better first half, we controlled game better in second half only giving them three shots. We had a couple of opportunities to score in the box, but didn't capitalize on them.

en We had opportunities to score some points off turnovers but then we would turn the ball over ourselves. We talked about that to the kids at halftime and now I kind of wish we didn't because we came out in the third quarter and turned the ball over again.

en Connecticut played very well. Our game plan was to keep them on the perimeter. They made shots, jump shots in the second half. We had easy opportunities that we weren't able to convert.

en We did some good things in the first half, we just didn't convert our opportunities. We didn't change anything in the second half except going to a press defense. We did a great job on the boards in the second half.

en Our offense was stagnant again in the second half. We didn't have the movement that we talked about, the passing that we talked about or the shots that we were looking to get. Grove City's defense in the second half knocked us out. We had trouble getting our shots.

en At halftime, we talked about 'Let's just show some semblance of a half-court defense and some offense. We took a lot of circus shots in the first half.

en To convert on that and have Ben score a touchdown, we had momentum going into (halftime). We came out in the second half and Willie busted a wide open touchdown that put us up 14-3, so that was a huge play.

en We missed a whole lot of easy shots in the first half. We talked at halftime, and I think that's when we really turned it around.

en Flannery really hit some big shots the first half. We talked at halftime that we couldn't let him touch the ball.

en We had opportunities to score runs early, but we didn't do it. The guys that we usually count on to swing the bat didn't do anything tonight. Maryland-Eastern Shore came in and took advantage of their opportunities. They did what they had to do. We have to play better than we did tonight.

en I thought he [Randolph] was being aggressive. He was getting some double teams early, and missed some shots. He didn't have the lift and was attacking the rim. In the second half he got more aggressive, and when he did went to the basket with aggressive moves. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him.

en We didn't make hardly any shots (in the first half), but we were stopping them. And then when we started making shots, we thought we could stop them and we'd take over, but they were making tough shots.
