| He's a good player who waited as long as he could and gave himself both options, but I still want that goal back. If you don't have butterflies, you shouldn't be in this spot because this is the best time of year when you want to show up. There's a way to control the nerves and not let them get the best of you, so maybe that's where a veteran knows how to do it. But today is over, and tomorrow is the most important day. |
| We knew it was going to be a tough match coming in, because Elizabeth-Forward matches up well with us. We were able to pull out a couple of matches that could have gone either way. We stayed off our backs; that was real important and we were able to bump a couple of kids around that secured a win for us. |
| Obviously, Gabe Willey has to come through and win matches at No. 1 and Steve Ward has to come up and win matches at the No. 2 spot. Obviously, the matches are going to be harder. But if those two players can step up moving to No. 2 to No. 1 from No. 3 to No. 2, respectively, then I think we'll be OK. I think they're ready for that challenge. |
| I didn't practice for one month and a half and I played three matches in a row and today I felt really, really tired on the court. I couldn't move properly and I couldn't find my game. My timing was not there. So it's really difficult to play against any player. |
