I'm going to be ordsprog

en I'm going to be prepared every day. St. Louis was my big lesson as far as experiencing splitting time with Ozzie. I found out that I couldn't go home and relax and say, 'I'm not playing tomorrow.' I had to eventually prepare myself to be ready to play. And this year is no different. I'm prepared to play every day.

en We have time to prepare for the type of defense they play, hopefully be better prepared, and plus we're playing at home. Maybe it will be a little different this time now that we're at home.

en I think our guys played hard tonight. We're doing a good job of taking this one game at a time and focusing on the team we're playing next and not worrying about what's ahead. We prepared well for Jerseyville and now we will get prepared for whoever we play next.

en The biggest lesson we learned last year was that we need to be as prepared to compete on the road as well as at home. We have a lot of pride playing on our home field, but we need to carry that same pride as competitors at any facility against any opponent.

en That's fundamental, basic football that we can be better at. That's what we've got to get across to our team. To me, the biggest factor is we can play smarter than we're playing. We can play harder. Our guys wanted to play, they were prepared to play, but we have to learn to play at a higher tempo when we're playing.

en We were well prepared and ready to play, but they played great and we just couldn't quite get going.

en We are disappointed that we were not able to play. We were mentally prepared to play, but we will bounce back and be ready for the next time.

en We are prepared, we have everything ready and we are prepared to help other communities if they get hit like they did the last time. People can call the Street Department at 377-2144 - this number is answered 24-hours a day. If people need bags, they need to get them today – prepare today.

en I really used that season as a learning experience. I tried to stay as sharp as I could physically by taking extra batting practice. It was a really big year mentally, though. en This is the third camp we've prepared for since last September, ... We got ready at the start of the (2004-05) year, and thought we might be coming back last February, so we prepared for a shortened season. I think we're all excited to know we'll all definitely be on the ice this time.
