en I think Wayne most enjoyed his time covering hockey. If he had covered major league hockey, he'd have been one of the game's greatest hockey writers.

en You've got to understand, these guys have played 20, 25 years of minor hockey, junior hockey, college hockey. And all of a sudden they're being told something completely different. It's going to take a little bit of time.

en Maybe you need to get some new blood in there to kind of run things a little differently. I've been with USA Hockey a long time, and it's probably time to see some change.

en It was kind of old-time hockey.

en I think they've taken away a little bit of the battles. It's part of hockey. If not, it's kind of roller hockey. Roller hockey, that's not good.

en We added two or three kids who played ice hockey before. And the core group has come back from last year when they had no ice hockey experience. It is kind of a combination.

en We look for kids who have played junior hockey, and the time commitment has become enormous. They know they aren't going to go pro, but they want to go to school and want to play hockey, but not put as much time in.

en It's never been easy. But I've always wanted to play hockey. I love hockey. I'd rather play hockey than do anything else. If you have that kind of desire, I think you can achieve what you want to achieve.

en It was kind of old-time hockey. I'm not happy that we had to go to overtime to win, but we certainly deserved both points with the way we played physically.

en They had a couple of kids who were dirty hockey players. The game kind of settled down when the two kids got ejected. We got back to playing hockey after that.

en Our goal for both field hockey camps is to challenge the participants and to make sure that they have a blast at the same time. We are excited to offer an Elite Week for the first time. It is our aim for this camp is to give the elite field hockey player an opportunity to improve their knowledge and advance their skill while being able to compete against other top field hockey players. We only hire head coaches who have elite level coaching experience and who possess the ability to make each session both challenging and fun.

en Most of the guys here play college hockey and we get it every time from the student sections so it's something that should be expected. I definitely thought it was anti-American, but at the same time a lot of guys in the locker room thrived on that. Almost every Canadian I've met is a great person. That's just hockey. They didn't like the other team.
