Most of the guys ordsprog

en Most of the guys here play college hockey and we get it every time from the student sections so it's something that should be expected. I definitely thought it was anti-American, but at the same time a lot of guys in the locker room thrived on that. Almost every Canadian I've met is a great person. That's just hockey. They didn't like the other team.

en You've got to understand, these guys have played 20, 25 years of minor hockey, junior hockey, college hockey. And all of a sudden they're being told something completely different. It's going to take a little bit of time.

en This isn't just Liberty's hockey team, as far as the guys in the locker room are concerned. It's Lynchburg's hockey team as well. Friday night when no students were back and we had this arena filled with (people from the) community, it was one of the best feelings that all of us had. It was unbelievable.

en I'm not one bit worried about our hockey team. I think we have the guys in our dressing room to get the job done. We've gotten more healthy over the break and we have some guys having some good efforts in the Olympics who can provide something to the lineup that they're bringing to their hockey clubs over there.

en As a player, you would love to have him on your team. As a person I just don't know yet. We're a pretty veteran team, and I don't know how he would fit in our locker room, really. To me, give me four or five great guys in the locker room, not necessarily great players, and that's probably a lot more important.

en This is where I am. My sole focus is helping this team win some hockey games. Once you get in the locker room you've got 20 guys all focused on the same thing.

en You never know what the guys in their room are thinking. If that happened to us, I know that there would be guys on our team looking for payback. Hopefully that's not the case and we can just play hockey.

en I watched the last couple days. It was good hockey. A lot of guys have their opinions about who should be on the team and who shouldn't. I have mine, some other guys have theirs. I get paid here, and I know what I have to do. I know I can do a lot more in the last 23 games, and it's time for me to play better.

en There's a couple of other guys out there we're talking to. We like some kids that are unrestricted in college right now ... that had good years coming out of college hockey. It's a fine line. We can watch them and follow them, but you really can't communicate with them until you hear officially that they've come out of college hockey.

en Every player in that locker room wants to go on to play Division I college hockey, and they know this is a route to get to it.

en It was a black mark for hockey, but for a lot of guys, it was a blessing in disguise as they could rest up. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. There's quite a few guys in the NHL that really benefited from the lay-off. On our team, we had a deep playoff run and we had guys like Lombardi (concussion) who got banged up. That time off, it helps, and guys could physically and mentally recover.

en We worked for 58 minutes and it was obviously a great effort, but we lost the hockey game. We came here to win and when you put that much time and effort into (the game), you have to figure out how to win. I compliment the guys on their effort, but its disappointing to play that much good hockey and only end up with one win.

en We had a lot of free spirits. But when it came time for tip-off we were going to play our hearts out. It was a great feeling to be able to sit in that locker room, look across the room and see all of those guys.

en Al did such a great job as captain last year. I need to focus and concentrate on helping this team win hockey games. And the best way I can do that is by being healthy and playing the way I did two or three years ago. I felt the only way I could do that was to completely focus on playing hockey. Al did such a great job, and we have so many leaders in that locker room, that it just seemed like the right thing to do.

en Canadian hockey fans... They boo me every time I go anywhere. Because I play for Team USA.
