We just didn't have the energy to get anything going. It was a struggle all night. We weren't generating any shots, especially in the third period.

I just think offensively the whole night we weren't in sync. We took quick shots, we took long shots and we didn't execute defensively.

We definitely wanted to get the ball inside. But the thing is that we had the shots to take, but we just didn't take them. We weren't taking jump shots period. That's something that we'll address in practice, but hats off to Hampton. We lost to a good team. His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness.

We've had a lot of guys thrown into roles they weren't accustomed to, and when you do that they may play well one night but then struggle the next. What were striving for is to get that consistent effort night in and night out. When we don't show up mentally, it shows on the scoreboard.

It was a frustrating night. Offensively we had a whole bunch of chances and a whole bunch of shots on net and came away with one goal. Defensively we held them to seven shots a period and probably in the range of four or five quality chances a period. It was a frustrating night. I guess the only positive you can take is you have to win four games, not just one.

We didn't really execute well offensively. The shots that were falling the other night weren't falling tonight. It just wasn't our night.

He's hot again, though. . . . I don't think I've ever seen him not swing well. I know he went through a period there where he wasn't doing a whole lot, but we weren't playing him. To this day, I've yet to see him struggle at all.

As much energy as I thought we had a week ago we had that less amount of energy tonight. We just weren't focused on what we needed to do. We didn't block anybody all night long. They did a great job double-teaming me. I got in foul trouble, my shots weren't going down, and things just weren't working my way. I tried to be as aggressive as I could, but they were defending me very well. I finally got some shots to go down late in the game when it seemed like it didn't matter anymore.

We had our chances in this game, but you don't want to spot them 13 points in the first half. This is a team we can beat, especially on our home court.

There weren't many tough ones in the first period when I didn't feel that comfortable. In the second and third I found my game, and after that I was hoping they would get even more shots because I felt so comfortable.

We didn't get our draw controls [in the second half]. We rushed on the attacking and didn't work the defense over enough. We were generating the shots but just we were not finishing.

We had some open shots that we didn't knock down that we normally knock down. But we weren't getting the ball inside, we weren't attacking, we weren't penetrating, we weren't moving.
