That's as loud an opening night as I've ever heard, anywhere. I think they're really going to enjoy the new NHL with the speed and the emphasis on offense. I think it's going to be a more fun game to watch. It's a fun game to coach, especially with the weapons we have.

We're expecting a pretty good crowd. The game will be on TV as well, so by 3 or 4 p.m., a portion of our crowd will stay to watch the game on TV. I think all bars on (Cincinnati) street are opening early. I'm opening at 11:30 a.m. or 12 p.m. at the latest. People are already planning on tailgating behind the bar as well. It's also the 16 de Septiembre, so we're ordering a bunch of extra beer. We'll also extend our happy hour through the game, from noon to 10 p.m. We're going to have extra staff, especially bouncers at night.

I'll just be a fan today, watch the game and enjoy opening day.

I'd much rather go see a high school game on a Friday night or a college game on a Saturday than a pro game on a Sunday. These kids do it because they enjoy the game of football.

This was a game from the opening tip that we felt like we could have won. We dominated the whole game where we did what we wanted to do on offense, and took them out of what they wanted to do on their offense. They made some key plays down the stretch and we didn't.

I can't remember the last time he had a bad Monday night game. You are going to have to force him to have a bad game in the national spotlight. When they get each other going they are fun to watch. Dylan had a great game. He controlled the tempo of the game and he was making the calls out there all night. Lucas is just a gym rat. As he goes the team goes a lot of time. If he can have a good game we usually win.

I heard a loud cheer, ... and I thought I saw the offense holding up the No. 1 sign like we were going for one. I got about three steps and heard him hollering at me.

The boys played extremely hard all night. Cross County is a very talented team with size and speed on their side. Our offensive line did a nice job in pass blocking. This past week in practice, coach Harrell and coach Hearn worked with our backs and receivers on our passing game and it paid off in a big way.

Despite the weather (rain was prevalent throughout the night) and the field being muddy, I thought our running game established our offense on the night. Our offensive line played a great game.
