And it's not about ordsprog

en And it's not about playing Nashville. You never know what's going to take place in other series. The way the league is now, the 5-6-7-8 seeds could win, and then you're left with home ice. Our goal is to finish with as many points as possible because home ice does matter, especially at the Tank.

en It's not about playing Nashville or anything like that. The way the league is now (seeds) 5, 6, 7 and 8 could win their series and then you have home ice.

en It doesn't matter to us. We want to play Nashville right now because that means we finished fourth or fifth. We're just trying to finish as high as we can. If we end up finishing sixth and we play these guys, that will be fun, too. If we win the last three games, we have a shot at home ice, so that's our goal right now. After that, it doesn't really matter if it's Nashville, Calgary, Dallas, whoever.

en There was no joy going to the park and I couldn't figure out why I was playing. When my mom died, I came home from the Cape Cod League. I drove home, saw her take her last breath, went to the funeral and left the next day. I never really grieved, and it hit me 2 1/2 years later. You never know when something is going to hit you. It could be the death of a parent, a grandparent or friend. You have to handle it the best way you can.

en Being at home for the regional is very important and something we've heard about all year, but an NCAA berth is just the byproduct of playing well during the season. Our play has been pretty consistent since the middle of January. Our goal right now is to secure home ice for the league playoffs.

en I told our guys that we had a great road trip and that everybody is telling you how great you are. The reality is, we have 35 games left and we have to take care of business. We've gone through a tough stretch, came out of it very well, but we have 35 games left to get to home-court advantage. We've got 35 games left to catch Phoenix. There are all kinds of things out there left for us to do. Right now, our goal shouldn't be to make the playoffs. Our goal should be to get home-court advantage.

en We're confident. Our goal was to get one of these two (games at The Q). We got one, and they come to (our place). We've got to (defend) our home court. It's going to be a good series.

en We have a football team participating in the Westmoreland Major League, but because of the inadequacies of the playing field, we have had to be playing our home games outside of the community. When the facility is upgraded our netballers and footballers will have the luxury of playing at home.

en Talk about parody, it was only a matter of two points that kept us from a third place finish behind Reno. And we were less than 50 points behind the first place finisher (Galena).

en I am happy the first game in the group stages is at home. Everybody will be up for it with us not having Champions League football for two years. So if we get three points in the first game, then we are away to Milan and you never know what's going to happen over there. Then we've got Artmedia at home in the third game. We could have six or seven points from the first three games.

en We did what we had to do. We needed both of these games and we got it done. They won at home and we won at home. We know going into the series we have to win one in their building assuming you win at home. This makes it a series right now. We'll go down there and do our best.

en We didn't show them at home that we're a good side so it's a challenge for us. There's no excuse for playing that badly at home. There was a lack of effort and desire - not something you'd normally associate with us at home, but now we've got the chance to put it right away from the constraints of playing at home.

en Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. Beating Sacred Heart in here on home ice gave us a lot of confidence and momentum. We have a chance to pick up a lot of points in the league with all of these home games coming up in January.

en It'd be pretty huge, having home ice through the whole playoffs, with as many rounds as they go and our record at home. It's going to be a battle. Playing three games against (Alaska) will be like a mini-playoff series.

en I think we're playing our best ball down the stretch here. I think we're getting good guard play. We're taking good care of the basketball. We're playing stingy defense. I think if we continue this way, we have a shot for a home game. But I think that we'll be fine, no matter where we go if we finish well.
