en It's going to be different. Everybody's telling me I'm coming over to the varsity league.

en We basically lost the entire varsity team. This is mostly the junior varsity that is coming up to play now.

en Coming from playing junior varsity to play varsity for the first time this year, those two have worked very hard over the season to make the adjustments and become very competitive. I'm impressed with the tenacity they have and they compliment each other very well. They truly work as a team right now.

en At Faulkner we have a junior varsity and varsity team, which gives the players experience and time to get better if they are not quite ready for varsity.

en Last year, [when] I first came into this league, I didn't know really how this league was or how they were going to play defense. I wasn't sure how to go at my releases and it was difficult and I was learning on the move. Coming into to training camp, that really helped me. So I got to get a lot of different looks. Bigger players coming to jam me, when to go in, when not to go in.

en If he had had a chance to play Little League, high school, Babe Ruth and so on, there is no telling where he could be right now. His legs alone make him Major League-quality.

en We are getting better ever game. The other coaches are telling us that, the umpires are telling us that, that we're coming around and we truly are.

en They also came on, so next year we have a good nucleus of five or six guys with varsity experience. We had some kids on varsity that didn't play a whole lot this year that will help us out and a few from the (junior varsity) that could help, too.

en We love him, ... We're continuously helping him out as far as giving him confidence, because in this league confidence is everything. We're not telling him not to do things, we're telling him to be smarter.

en That's part of getting used to this league. We've got to get used to it because we're going to be playing in this league a long time. We've got to adjust. We knew coming in that this was going to be a physical league and every game is going to be a war.

en People had been scouting us for over a week prior to coming here, telling us they were from FOX News, telling us their producers were interested, and they'd get in touch with us. We found out later, they were all secret service agents checking us out.

en We have another season coming up, and that's what we're getting ready for. We'd like to win the league, but our league is tough. You have to battle every night in this league.

en If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. We had six of seven players new to the varsity role. This was a great way to start our league.

en I think we're probably two to three years away from coming up with a technique where we might be able to put an individual in an MRI scanner and say whether an individual is telling the truth or telling a lie. But I think we have the technology. I cannot say with a 100 percent certainty, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

en All kinds of candidates have been coming here telling you what they are going to do...until it comes time to pay for it, ... It's time for a little bit of truth-telling at every level of government.
