Georgia pitched very well the last two days. They're what you call a dangerous' team. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines. If they stay healthy, they'll be a big factor.

Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. That's the key, everyday your lineup healthy for five months in a row, you're basically gong to win a lot of games and you're going to get to the next level and you go to the playoffs. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

It means I've stayed healthy, ... That's always my number one goal heading into a season. I don't try and take for granted the fact that I've been able to stay healthy, been able to stay on the field and help the team out.

The Cardinals have a fine team, a real good team. We'll come out next year and try to get the lead or at least stay close -- and stay healthy. They're No. 1 or 2 in pitching, and that shows you how important pitching is. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

Health is always a factor. Everyone needs to stay healthy and do their job. These guys believe in each other.

Ever since the Georgia game [Jan. 7], our team hasn't been healthy.

Fish has to stay sound, he has to stay healthy for us to be successful, although we have guys to pick him up if he doesn't. Last year, he broke down a couple times. We need him to stay healthy.

He was given the addition on his contract as well as a terrific increase, which is a good thing for both him and Georgia, because I think it puts people at rest that when this opening comes up in Tallahassee, that he wants to stay at Georgia, and that's what he wants to do.

Thank goodness we had one game under our belt with everybody, ... Sometimes that kind of thing can happen in training camp and you never get everyone healthy. It's something that happens to pretty much every team in the league. The teams that stay healthy are able to have success.

The future is now for this team, and I hope that we can stay focused over the next four weeks, and stay healthy, so we can make a strong run at our conference championships.
